QUICK REFERENCE FOR VDE 2.30

          ESC-?  gives brief onscreen command menu.  ESC key cancels
         prefixes, aborts printing/macros, and clears error messages.

                               CURSOR MOVEMENT:

    <up> = ^K or ^E    <rt> = ^L or ^D     ^Q<rt>,<lf> start, end of line
    <dn> = ^J or ^X    <lf> = ^H or ^S     ^Q<up>,<dn> top, end of screen

         ^F,A  word right,left     ^R  page up       ^QR  top of file
          ^QB  start of block      ^C  page down     ^QC  end of file

                                 MISCELLANY:

         TAB enter a real TAB           ESC-TAB  tab over with spaces
         ^V  toggle INSERT mode         ESC<up>  screen up 4 lines
         ^N  insert a CR                ESC<dn>  screen down 4 lines
         ^^  toggle case of char        ESC<rt>  screen right 30 cols
        ^OW  toggle windowing           ESC<lf>  screen left 30 cols

                                  DELETING:

    ^G  delete char to right    ^Y  delete line    ^QY  del to end of ln
    DEL delete char to left     ^QU UNdel line     ^Q-DEL " to beg of ln
    ^T  delete word to right    ^U  UNdel char

                              FIND and REPLACE:

      ^QF  find string (^Z repeats)        ^QA  find and replace string

                                FILE CONTROLS:

 ESC-N  change filename    ESC-F  show disk files    ESC-S  save, continue
 ESC-L  load new file      ESC-E  erase disk file    ESC-X  save and exit
 ESC-R  read in disk file                            ESC-Q  quit without save

                                   BLOCKS:

ESC-B  mark block start (cursor is block end)   ESC-T  take block into buffer
